Garuda=mythic king of the birds. Begin in Mountain pose, Tadasana. Bend your knees, squatting slightly. Cross your right thigh over your left thigh, bend your right knee, and bring your right foot around hehind your left calf. Hold both arms out in front of you, bend them up, and cross them, left elbow inside. Turn both palms inward and bring them together. Raise the intertwined hands high and gaze at them.
