Bheka="frog." Begin in Ubja. Bend both knees and use your hands to bring your heels down to and onto (or beside) your buttocks. Then bend your elbows to pull your shoulders, chest and head back and up.

Variation 1
Bend one knee only, using both hands to bring the heel down and the chest up: ardhabhekasana (ardha="half).
Variation 2
Press the insides of your ankles to open your hips.
