Vyaghra=“tiger.” Begin in Cat. Raise and bend one leg so that its sole faces the sky. Now reach back underhand, and grasp the ankle of the raised leg with the opposite hand.

Progression

Variation 1

Instead of grasping the toe with the opposite hand, grasp the toe with the same-side hand.

Variation 2

Instead, grasp the ankle overhand with the opposite hand.
